Well what a fabulous month October was… we recorded our biggest ever monthly sales since the company began way back in 1989!
Amanda Strong, our Managing Director, was delighted with the outstanding result following a couple of “odd months”, post Brexit, which sent a ripple through an almost perfect year.
She told the Derby Evening Telegraph that: the presses have been red hot ever since the middle of September. So much so that we had to adopt a 24 hour shift programme to cope with the demand. She also told them, and the contacts within the Print Industry, that October’s result is an amazing testament to the quality of our work and to our sales and production team, all of whom, have worked exceptionally hard to keep us ahead of our competition.
It seems like Brexit had an instant ‘fear factor’ and some clients and suppliers saw years of doom and gloom ahead. luckily it was short-lived.
Here at Mercia, we know that maintaining business quality ethics: a great quality job, with great after sales support, at great value for money, will help to keep Britan Great and will offer continued prosperity to businesses that adopt a similar strategy. So, we would like to thank every one of our amazing clients for all of the support that you have given us recently. We pride ourselves on the work that we produce and we are glad that our customers are happy with the work they receive.
With Christmas fast approaching we are expecting the presses to stay busy right through the months of November and December. We are therefore asking all of our clients to get all their orders in as early as possible, not forgetting the calendar/ diary orders. We are hoping that the October result is a sign of things to come in 2017.
