Implementing Web StandardsThe
World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), with other standards bodies and groups, establishes technologies for creating and interpreting web-based content. The technologies, which we call 'web standards', are designed carefully to deliver the maximum benefits to the greatest number of web users while ensuring the long term viability of documents published to a website.
Using standards to design and build websites simplifies and lowers the cost of production. Also, by conforming to standards we are able to deliver a website that is accessible to more people and more types of web browsing devices. As web browsing and the traditional desktop browser evolves and as new devices are produced, our site will continue to function correctly.
Our site conforms to both CSS and XHTML guidelines as set by the W3C. Our sites also meet all automatic checkpoints in terms of web accessibility wherever possible according to AAA guildelines.
